Description

Everyone is welcome to our Work Party this coming Sunday.

Volunteer Orientation begins at 12:30pm followed by the Sheet Mulch Party at 1:00pm.

Welcome to HVF Tours will be held from 2-4pm.

Come one, come all!

What to Bring? - Please bring yourself, warm clothing you don't mind getting a little dirty, tough shoes as there are some sharp objects on the site, water, snacks to share, wheel barrows, shovels, rakes, tarps, cardboard, heavy working gloves and a positive attitude.

Description

Hayes Valley Farm is an education and research project with a focus on urban agriculture. The farm is located in the center of San Francisco, where the Central Freeway used to connect with Fell and Oak Streets prior to the Loma Prieta earthquake in 1989.
