Have you seen the greenhouse truck parked near the apiaries from Oak St? Turns out it's a mobile greenhouse project, called "Compass Green," that has been making its way across the country, educating as many people as possible and using waste vegetable oil to power the adventure. Similar to our vision at Hayes Valley Farm, Compass Green aims to create and share practical solutions to counteract the dearth of agricultural resources. The Compass Green truck will be around this week and again in early March. Check out the Compass Green website to find out more about their journey and project.
