Fruit Trees with Antonio Roman-Alcala

Part three of a three-part course offered in July

When: July 25 from 11:30am to 12:30pm


Description: Sign up for the last in a series of three one-hour classes that'll introduce you to how to select, plant, prune, and care for fruit trees. In the first class, we discussed varieties and types of trees that work in our coastal climate, and how to plant them. In the second class, we covered the theory and practice of pruning, as well as other important aspects of fruit tree care and maintenance. In this third class, we will be hands on with some summer pruning, where all participants will get a chance to give "haircuts" to some local apple trees in the city!

Cost: $10 to $25 (sliding scale) per session
