Farm Film Night: Vanishing of the Bees

Friday, September 24, 2010, 06:00pm - 10:00pm

Farm Film Night at Hayes Valley Farm

Featuring Vanishing of the Bees with music by The Secrets

Feature: Presented in partnership with Holos Institute, the free event will mark the third Farm Film Night, building on the success of the farm's screening of Botany of Desire on July 20, which attracted 500 visitors. The Farm Film Night series aims to build community and educate urban dwellers on issues related to food and eco-sustainability. By screening Vanishing of the Bees, the farm will bring awareness to the interwoven relationships within our food system. The event aims to also raise funds for the farm’s new Honey Bee Education and Awareness Program.
