Magic Mondays for Kids

When: Mondays @ 10:00am - 6:00pm

Description: Hayes Valley Farm is offering a standing engagement for your fieldtrips! Bring your class, group, or day camp to enjoy a fun, educational day at Hayes Valley Farm. Games, activities, and classes can be tailored to fit your groups age and interests.

Regular Activities

• a farm tour and history of the site
• planting seeds in packs to take home
• planting seedlings on our newly landscaped growing slopes
• worm composting & feed the worms
• soil building & exploration & learn about the LIFE of soil
• plant, animal and insect identification
• harvesting & cooking from the garden
• outdoor picnic lunch
• arts & crafts inspired by the farm
  

We can also create an educational farm series for your class, contact us for more details.

Pricing: We work on a sliding scale and suggest a $10-20 donation per child for a 2 hour program. No child will be turned away for lack of funds. We are simply interested in supporting our knowledgeable and caring staff to do what they do best.
