In this class, students will explore earthworks and working with the land and natural resources of the urban landscape. Students will learn about the anatomy of land composition, how to reduce our need for energy and materials, diversify a landscape and enable better land use to rehabilitate balance. Lectures and hands-on activities will focus on local applications, case studies and site-specific projects.
