Trees in Urban Permaculture

In this class, students will study and explore various concepts including species selection, planting and pruning strategies and how trees effect the garden and the landscape, as well as various strategies for healthy and productive fruit trees and urban orchards. Learn about grafting, selecting appropriate trees for your garden, planting and caring for trees to maximize productivity. Lectures, discussions and hands-on activities introduce students to techniques and varied applications in the urban landscape.
