Magic Mondays for Kids

When: Mondays @ 10:00am - 4:00pm

Description: Hayes Valley Farm is offering a standing engagement for your fieldtrips! Bring your class, group, or day camp to enjoy a fun, educational day at Hayes Valley Farm. Games, activities, and classes can be tailored to fit your groups age and interests.

Regular Activities

• a farm tour and history of the site
• planting seeds in packs to take home
• planting seedlings on our newly landscaped growing slopes
• worm composting & feed the worms
• soil building & exploration & learn about the LIFE of soil
• plant, animal and insect identification
• harvesting & cooking from the garden
• outdoor picnic lunch
• arts & crafts inspired by the farm
  

We can also create an educational farm series for your class, contact us for more details.

Pricing
We work on a sliding scale and suggest a $10-20 donation per child for a 2 hour program. No child will be turned away for lack of funds. We are simply interested in supporting our knowledgeable and caring staff to do what they do best.

When and How
