Bike Farm: Get more out of your bike.

When: Sunday, November 7, 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm

Description: An introduction to Bike Farm, where you can learn about maintaining your own bike.

  • Flat Fix
  • Lubrication
  • Simple Maintenance

Bicyclers and beginners alike, all are welcome to participate in a FREE Bicycle Maintenance and Service Workshop led by experienced mechanics. Keep your bike running clean and strong. We’ll discuss:

  1. Chain Lubrication
  2. Gear Shift Adjustments
  3. Brake Adjustments
  4. Flat Fixes
  5. Free evaluations and estimates, all questions welcome.

We hope to inspire individuals and the community alike to discover confidence, resilience and sustainable solutions in their everyday life. By attending the workshop, volunteers will learn how to maintain, troubleshoot and enjoy their bikes. Just like the first-time experiences of growing food and gardening that many people have enjoyed doing “Show Me Your Starts”, at the Kitchen Garden Workshops, many people want to know more about taking care of their bikes and becoming less dependent on our natural resources to get around town. We want to launch this at the farm to help build sustainable communities and share this with our volunteers.
