Become a Community Partner

Hayes Valley Farm welcomes your organization to contact us if you are interested in becoming a community partner. We are looking forward to working with schools, other non-profit organizations, community and local business in order to form strong bonds that will benefit both organizations.

List of our community partners

John Bela & Rebar

We are currently working with John Bela & Rebar to coordinate the design and construction of the urban farm site infrastructure - the water systems and structures like the greenhouse - that will support the operation of the farm.

Falleti Foods

We are currently working with the Falleti Foods as a supplier of cardboard for the site. Thus far they have supplied over 10,000 lbs of cardboard to help keep our sheet-mulching strategy possible. We are very grateful to Alan and Jaime at Faletti Foods for being such wonderful community members to work with, always smiling and always contributing.

French American International School

We are currently working with the French American International School to integrate environmental education into their curriculum. Their students will provide a unique opportunity to engage the next generation of leaders with ideas surrounding sustainability, the green economy, and environmental stewardship.

Chinese American International School

We are currently working with the Chinese American International School to look at opportunities to integrate the farm activities and environmental education into their curriculum.

San Francisco Zen Center

We are currently working with the San Francisco Zen Center and their Green Gulch Farm to increase the available food for inviduals who don't traditionally have access to local, healthy, organically grown fruits and vegetables.
