Lindsey

Lindsey Goldberg, 26 was born and raised in a little town at the base of Mt. Tamalpais just north of San Francisco. She recently returned to the Bay Area after living, learning and traveling around the world. She is thrilled to have re-settled in the Bay, lives in the vibrant Mission district of S.F and loves living close to her family with the opportunity to have dinner with her parents once a week. Her passions include cultivating community, education, gardening, spending time outdoors, hiking and riding her bike, yoga, dancing and cooking up art with food in her kitchen, she has recently taken up bread baking.

Lindsey has a Master’s in Education with an emphasis in environmental and art education from the University of Washington. She has worked with kids of all ages to inspire stewardship and connection to place all along the west coast of the United States, in southern Spain, Israel, the West Bank and throughout India. She is a registered yoga teacher with the yoga alliance and teaches yoga in San Francisco and Marin county.

The YOUTH Program at Hayes Valley Farm inspires me! I believe that these experiences will help to cultivate a generation of youth with consciousness around health, stewardship, interconnections alive in the natural world, and how to grow their own food!
