Hayes Valley Farm is a host site for middle and high school students to complete their service hours during our regular Volunteer Days on Thursday and Sunday afternoons, as well as during other children’s programming and special events.
Students will experience and explore concepts of urban sustainability and farm ecology on our site or we can come to your school to give a presentation about Hayes Valley Farm, the social-cultural history of the site, and the principles guiding the design.
