Casey
Casey Gold is a San Francisco transplant, a young lady of 26 years originally from Los Angeles. Her eyes twinkled when she arrived to the Bay Area three years ago, knowing she had arrived to the most specialist of places. She has been involved in the SF urban agriculture movement for several years as a community garden volunteer, student of permaculture, and garden wizard. Casey studied Communication and Spanish Literature at UC Santa Barbara, sharpening her skills of expression, reflection, and linguistic diversity.
Traveling is a passion- she’s lived in Ukraine, Chile, and Spain- as is education and personal connectedness. Casey currently works in the Wellness Center at Galileo High School in SF, and is thrilled to remain part of the brilliant Youth Education Program at Hayes Valley Farm.

The YOUTH Program at Hayes Valley Farm is my chance to learn with an inspiring team of educators and an abundant flock of future farmers!
